Tom Hopkins, an artist with a gothic flair, was born and raised in Norfolk, England; his artistic journey began amid the rich folklore and serene coastlines that have deeply influenced his work.
His passion for art was kindled at an early age, drawing inspiration from the mystique and history surrounding Norfolk’s landscapes. Hopkins’ work often reflects themes of mystery and enchantment, with each piece telling a story rooted in his love for folklore.
Hopkins’ art is a fusion of gothic elements with contemporary techniques, drawing from a myriad of influences including classical literature, folklore, and the natural world. He hopes to continue to delve ever deeper into these themes, exploring new artistic territories while staying true to his unique style. Through his work, he aims to entertain and spark imagination.
Hopkins studied Fine Art at Norwich School as well as Acting at Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance. A sense of drama is evident throughout his paintings and he is currently developing oral retellings of their inspiration.
